Unless there is signage or you have previous knowledge of the property, you are not likely to be able to tell whether a home is a certified green home just by driving by, or based on any initial visual inspection. Certified homes don’t stand out because they are all painted a bright green color or because they have unsightly fixtures or oddly sized doors or windows.
